The American Friendship Foundation will be sponsoring a beer and wine garden over the 4th of July weekend on Lopez Island. The event will benefit primary education and a medical clinic in Haiti.
Join us in the heart of Lopez Village at 192 Lopez Road. We’ll be opening up this beautiful property to the public from noon to 5pm to enjoy refreshments for a great cause.
On Saturday and Sunday, the event will feature students from College Cellars in Walla Walla. College Cellars is Washington’s premier teaching school for wine production, and they’ll be bringing some delicious wines up for the weekend.
On Monday and Tuesday, we’ll be featuring authentic bratwurst and sausages grilled up by Das Brat Wagen. Wrapped with love in locally made buns and sauces, these are the perfect compliment to an ice cold beer.
Our Haitian partner Hubermann Alcean will be on hand to answer questions about life, learning, and culture in Haiti.
We look forward to being a part of your 2017 4th of July weekend on Lopez Island!
